The 25-year-old nephew of the Duchess of Sussex has little relation to the Royal Family. Dooley’s father, Tom Markle Jr., is the Duchess’ half-brother. The Dooley family claims they have not seen Markle in over two decades.
The show is set for production by MTV and is scheduled to feature Dooley’s legal grow-op, which he conveniently named ‘Royally Grown.’ It will feature Dooley’s mother, Tracy, his girlfriend, Sandra, and his brother Tom as recurring cast members. Dooley and his family captured MTV’s attention because of how different their lives are compared to the Royal Family.
Earlier this year, Dooley announced that Royally Grown would be releasing a signature strain titled “Markle Sparkle,” in response to the hype surrounding the royal wedding.
Dooley initially announced his creation at the 2018 Cannabis Cup last June. The Sativa-dominant hybrid contains a blend of Blue City Diesel, Blueberry Northern Lights, and one unannounced by Dooley.
Royally Grown also has plans to expand its business to edibles, clothing, oils, and other familiar cannabis products. Though the cannabis show doesn’t have a release date yet, it’s scheduled to air on screens in England and the United States.
