Nibblin’ on sponge cake. Watchin’ the sun bake. All of those tourists vaping with Jimmy Buffett CBD oil.

Yup, Jimmy Buffett now has his own brand of cannabis.

The “Margaritaville” singer, together with health and wellness company Suterra Wellness, launched the Coral Reefer cannabis brand this weekend.

The Coral Reefer vape pen, called the TideRider, is made to look like a surfboard, according to a press release.

Four vaporizer formulas are available, with varying CBD-to-THC ratios ranging in mild to high intensity, for those seeking pain relief, mood management or total body relaxation.

The formulas also have very Parrothead names: Seas the Day, Cabana Caydreamin’, Stories We Could Tell and Surfin’ in a Hurricane.

The brand plans to extend into edibles, topicals, pre-rolls and CBD-only products later this year, according to the press release.

“It never dawned on me that Coral Reefer would be anything other than a cool name for a tropical band born out of the Key West lifestyle in the mid-70s,” Buffett said in the press release. “But life is supposed to be about having fun and staying healthy enough to enjoy it.  I think Coral Reefer will help a lot of folks do that.”

Coral Reefer launched in Suterra stores in Florida, but hopes to roll out to other states – including California and Nevada, where marijuana is fully legal – by mid-summer. Similar to Ohio, only medical, not recreational, marijuana is legal in Florida. Suterra currently does not have any stores in Ohio.
